Join Teams work meetings from Microsoft Teams (free) and vice versa

Microsoft Teams (Free) users can currently join Teams for work (or school) meetings only as guests, which requires them to use a browser and results in a sub-optimal experience. The new feature rolling out will allow these users to join Teams for work (or school) meetings in one click, without being redirected to the browser or asked to fill in their name/surname. They will also be able to continue collaborating with the meeting organizer and other participants via meeting chat after the meeting.  The feature will work in the opposite way as well, so Teams for work (or school) will just as easily be able to join meetings hosted by a Teams Free user with one click. A couple of favorite news about the world of Teams - Week 25

Time for a new update from the world of teams. This time I will try to cover week 24 and 25, including updates to documentation, new features and client updates.

There has been a new release for both the desktop (and web) client and the mobile client. If you're interested in what these updates bring, please read the release notes for the desktop and the mobile app

Skype room systems was updated twice the past two weeks to fix some launching issues and windows update management.

A new application was introduced to the ever growing pool of third party integrations available for Teams. If you are a user of Evernote, this note is for you.

Visio is a powerful application used by a lot of companies. Visio online has now been integrated with Teams, and makes it possible to collaborate on Visio documents through Teams.

Among all the updated documentation, I found this documentation very interesting. It is the documentation of Teams Online call flows, and if you study the very end, you'll find some notes on Express Route optimizations.

Recording of Skype for Business meetings has always been a challenge, and been depending on a user storing the recording and later uploading it. Teams Cloud Recording is a solution where everything is stored in the cloud. Take a look at the following documentation.
