Upcoming Enhancements to Microsoft Teams Meeting Chat Controls

There are many kinds of meetings, and Teams is a great tool to have virtual meetings in. As an example, it is possible to get to the chat of the meeting and start the discussion up front or continue the discussions or ask follow up questions after the meeting is over.  But sometimes, there are scenarios where organizer would want to keep the chat closed for comments outside of the meeting timeframe. And here is a new feature coming our way, to control exactly that behavior. The Teams admin center will soon allow setting up policies that will enhance your control over meeting chats. These new options are designed to give administrators more flexibility in managing how and when participants can interact via chat during meetings. European Skype for Business User Group Event

I am really excited to share some details about the upcoming Skype for Business user group event. A set of national user groups across Europe has decided to join forces and host a coordinated user group event on April the 6th.

The event will be hosted in different locations and streamed via Broadcast Meeting to those who cannot make there in person. 5 of the 6 hosting countries has chosen a topic to present, will be given 25 minutes each.  All speakers are MVP's and recognized for their knowledge and contributions on the topics presented. This is going to a great night.

  • 6:45 - 7:10   Session 1 (Nordics - Cloud PBX and options)
