Pinning posts in Teams channels

Members of your Teams should soon be able to pin messages to channels. This feature will be on by default, and there is nothing the organization really needs to do. But if you for some reason want to control a channel and not allow members to pin. There is a channel setting to control it. Simply select or deselect "Allow members to pin messages".

The feature should be rolling out early July, and be completed within a couple of weeks.
