New Copilot Updates for Outlook Scheduling, Word Agent Mode, and PowerPoint Agent Mode

Microsoft has announced Copilot enhancements across Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint that improve scheduling, document creation, and presentation building. Here is a summary of some of the features I think can come in handy. Be aware that timelines may change as deployments progress, some of these have already been pushed back a couple of months. All of the following features requires a Microsoft 365 Copilot license, and will be enabled by default for users with such a license. Automatic rescheduling of 1:1 meetings Automatic rescheduling of flexible 1:1 meetings and personal events in Outlook with Copilot, helping users resolve conflicts with minimal manual effort is coming soon. This will be in addition to the already released auto rescheduling of meeting rooms. Originally this feature was planned for mid‑November 2025 to mid‑January 2026, but is now hopefully coming between to mid‑February 2026 and the end of February 2026. I am humbled and honored to receive my 8th MVP award for the community contributions I make on “M365 apps & Services”. It is a privilege to be a part of this great community, and there is a lot of hard work behind every nomination and renewal.

Although you might feel you've done enough this year, you never know until you see the email with the words "Congratulations!". Since I was a bit uncertain how the performance during the pandemic would affect my chances this year, It was really great to get the confirmation this morning. 
The Microsoft MVP Award gives us the unique opportunity to celebrate, honor and say thank you to top-notch technology experts who make outstanding contributions to their communities. These technology experts have an unstoppable urge to get their hands on new, exciting technologies and love to share their knowledge. While there is no single way to become an MVP, we have some great examples that showcase our MVPs and the passion, community spirit and leadership they have exhibited to earn the MVP award.

Being an MVP is really inspirational and rewarding at the same time. I can't wait to see what this next year will bring. And how many new friends I will make.
