Identity and authentication never stand still, and Microsoft has over the past few weeks announced several updates that continue the shift toward a passwordless future. The common theme is stronger security combined with a better user experience, whether that means making passkeys the preferred authentication method, introducing more flexible passkey management in Entra ID, or simplifying device migration for users of Microsoft Authenticator. Here are three updates that should be on the radar of both identity administrators and security teams.
