Copilot Prompt Gallery is getting a refresh

Microsoft is giving the Copilot Prompt Gallery a refresh, and releasing it as a seperate app users can pin to their app-bar. The Copilot Prompt Gallery app promises to enhance user experience and productivity. This refresh will introduce a new home page and an improved prompt browsing experience, making it easier for users to navigate and utilize the app effectively.

Key Features and Enhancements

  • New Home Page: The redesigned home page will serve as a central hub for users, providing quick access to the most relevant prompts and features. This intuitive layout aims to streamline navigation and improve overall user engagement.
  • Enhanced Prompt Browsing: The updated browsing experience will allow users to find and interact with prompts more efficiently. With better categorization and search functionality, users can quickly locate the prompts they need to boost their productivity and collaboration.
  • Organizational Prompts: One of the most exciting additions is the ability to create, publish, and manage organizational prompts tailored to your specific needs. This feature will enable your organization to curate a collection of prompts that align with your goals and workflows, making them readily available for users within the app.

Make the new app available to your employees

To make sure your employees can benefit from the new Copilot Prompt Gallery app, you need to enable Teams apps for your tenant by customizing the default settings for Teams apps that work on Outlook and the Microsoft 365 app. Additionally, you should configure the Prompts app for users in your organization by managing its availability. For detailed instructions, you can refer to the provided link.

The app is already rolling out in global preview, and should be available to all by the end of May (according to a message in the 365 Message Center).
