The era of the frontier firm On Monday the 9th of March,  Microsoft announced a broader set of Microsoft 365 updates that go beyond a single feature release, combining expanded model choice in Microsoft 365 Copilot with the upcoming general availability of Agent 365 and the introduction of Microsoft 365 E7: The Frontier Suite . In Microsoft’s own framing, these announcements are part of a larger push to bring together “Intelligence + Trust,” with Microsoft positioning Work IQ , model diversity , and agent governance as core building blocks for the next stage of enterprise AI adoption. Timelines may still change, but the direction is now much clearer for organizations evaluating how to scale Copilot and agents more strategically.
